G9000 Remote Eye Details

Installation

RemotEye II is shipped loose for field install during UPS startup.
- Cut off traditional 120V to 12 VDC power supply transformer leaving about 18" from round DC lug to cut
- Confirm inner and outer connections of DC plug to ensure proper polarity when connecting to the + / - terminals of the UPS REII power supply board
- Install gender changer as interface between UPS DB9 and REII cable DB9. Radio shack #26-1409 works with one set of the DB9 connector nuts removed
- In programming REII set IP, Sub, Gateway; disable DHCP and verify network upgrade is enabled.
