Power Distribution Overview

Many items make up a successful power distribution system. These include,

Power Distribution Units - Traditional PDUs to sit on a computer floor. These contain a packaged main breaker, step down transformer (standard, K factor or harmonic cancellation types), multiple output panel boards, cables and monitoring. Brochure.

Remote Power Packs - Newer style transformer free compact power distribution units to sit on a small amount of floor space and distribute via single or multiple power panel boards. These systems can be configured for single or dual input power. Brochure.

Branch Current Monitoring - The ever growing amount of small single phase loads has caused a concern for loading of the individual circuit breakers feeding these loads. Power strips have permitted a lot of equipment to be powered on a circuit. Branch current monitoring allows each circuit breaker to be continually monitored and for emails or alarms to be generated automatically when a circuit's amp draw exceeds a pre-determined point.
Power Cables to feed to individual computer loads. We have short 12" through 48" server power cables to cut down on air blockage and clutter in server cabinets. Brochure.
Rack Mount Vertical and Horizontal Power Distribution is available in many configurations including:
15, 20 and 30 amp
Single and 3 phase
NEMA 515, NEMA 520, IEC 13 outlets
Single and dual circuit input
NEMA Locking or Non-Locking Input
Redundant Failsafe
Power Draw Ammeter Built-In
IP Addressable
Internal Temperature and Humidity Monitoring
Up to 84 outlets

Surge Protection to protect building mains, panels downstream and individual circuits. PDI Brochure.

Dual input equipment, both as loads served and as feeders power is drawn from.

Harmonic Treatment either as in K-factor transformers which are designed to survive harmonics or Harmonic Cancellation Transformers which are designed to eliminate harmonics upstream of the transformer. Brochure on Computer Grade Transformers including Harmonic Cancellation.
Voltage Regulation - Configured as single output, multiple output or as a PDU with panelboards, voltage regulation units will maintain a steady output voltage while utility or generator power is fluctuating. Brochure.
Maintenance bypass equipment for providing power to critical loads while servicing is done on UPS type equipment.

Of course, UPS both battery free and battery type fit into the power distribution equipment description.

We provide a multitude of solutions along the power distribution lines. All of the above are offered. Feel free to contact us for specific requirements we can help you on.
